Constitution Amendments

I know that almost all Constitution amendment are declined, but this one is really interesting. It would require people who vote to have a war to participate in it. While this is wildly impractical considering how attacks should be kept secret, I think a form of this should be implemented.

Jerry's Deli

Went to a birthday at Jerry's Deli. Was pretty much eating food for three hours. Who thought Jerry's Deli was a good birthday location?

Homeland

Homeland reminds me a lot of 1984. It is about a prisoner of war who gets rescued but has been turned to the side of the terrorists from eight years of torture. Remind you of anyone?

Cancer

Apparently you can get cancer from getting cells from a tumor on your body. A surgeon accidently got some tumor cells on his skin and he got cancer.

I started watching homeland. It is a really interesting show. It spends a lot of time looking at psychological disorders that the characters have.

Watched Mama

That movie was pretty spooky. So spooky that one of my friends started crying. Didn't think it would be as scary as it was.

Spider maaaan

 Guy puts on a Spiderman costume to coax a child off of a ledge. That is really cool. I want to own a Spiderman costume for occasions like this now.

Carbon Monoxide in food

The USA puts carbon monoxide in food, most other countries are against this. It is used to make food look fresher. That is probably not good.

The stethoscope was originally invented because a doctor couldn't hear the heartbeat of someone because they were so fat. He said that he couldn't hear the heartbeat "on account of the great degree of fatness". That is pretty funny.

Les Miserables

Watched Les Miserables. Did not expect the whole entire movie to be a musical. Seems it had over two hours of song in it. It was really good. Hugh Jackman was amazing in it.

sodium lauryl sulfate

Though many articles say that it causes cancer, there is no evidence that links it with cancer. It seems to just be a skin irritant. Not that dangerous. Some companies have even removed it from their products because of consumer concern.

1984

So I was reading 1984 and it stated that the reason for war is so that the three mega-states can get rid of resources to keep the people stupid. However, the book then says that having eternal peace is the same as having eternal war; this doesn't make sense. The point of the war was to get rid of resources. how are you going to get rid of resources if you have peace?

I saw Django a few days back. I loved it so much I bought the soundtrack. Tarantino is one of the best directors around.
